About the Journal

Social Communication. Online Journal is a scientific online double-blind peer-reviewed journal, published since March 2012 by the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszow (to 2014 published under the title Komunikacja Społeczna. Czasopismo elektroniczne).

We publish in areas of Communication, Linguistics, Media Studies, New Technologies and Society, Cultural Studies, Social Sciences, Public Relations, Visual Communication, Visual Arts, Marketing Communication, Political Communication, Social Communication, Gender, and ICT.

The editors of Social Communication. Online Journal welcome research and theoretical articles in English, in doc files, and submitted after registration on our site. We also accept scientific reviews of books and reports on scientific conferences and seminars.

All articles submitted to Social Communication. Online Journal are going to be reviewed. Sending an article in is treated as accepting the rules of reviewing. All articles accepted by the editors-in-chief are double-blinded peer-reviewed. 

The editors do not pay for unsolicited articles and reserve the right to make editorial changes. Responsibility for the views presented in an article is solely that of the author.

The editors accept submissions on a continuous basis.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content under the Creative Commons BY 4.0 license. Authors who publish with this journal retain all copyrights and agree to the terms of the  CC BY 4.0 license.

This Journal is financed by the Ministry of Education and Science in Poland in the years 2022 and 2024 under the program “Support for scientific journals” nr RCN/SN/0406/2021/1. The ministry is supporting the journal since 2017.
